Senior Technical Consultant – Salesforce Professional Services

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end Salesforce platform solutions, enterprise integrations and technical guidance to executive‑level customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and deploy Salesforce Platform solutions, including complex middleware integrations.
• Lead technical thought‑leadership on customer and partner engagements, ensuring successful delivery and high client satisfaction.
• Produce architecture and design documentation that follows Salesforce best practices and integrates with customer infrastructure.
• Identify, manage and mitigate technical risks, driving issues to resolution.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience implementing solutions in a software domain with strong object‑oriented programming skills.
• Degree or equivalent experience; ability to work independently and within distributed teams.
• Fluency in English and Italian (French preferred); willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.

Required skills

• Java (or other OOP language) development.
• REST and SOAP API design, microservices and event‑driven architecture.
• Salesforce Platform expertise, including certifications (preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Conga, CloudSense or Zuora.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools.
