Service Engineer & Field Auditor

About the role

Sulzer is seeking a Service Engineer & Field Auditor to provide on‑site technical expertise, audit customer installations, and ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout project lifecycles. The role combines deep technical knowledge with a proactive, consultative approach to support reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for commissioning, troubleshooting, failure analysis and training on Sulzer equipment.
• Audit customer installations and propose tailored solutions to improve production, reliability and efficiency.
• Translate customer needs into concrete recommendations such as equipment upgrades, spare‑parts strategies, maintenance optimisation or process improvements.
• Ensure a seamless customer journey from pre‑sales to final delivery with proactive, transparent engagement.
• Comply with Sulzer quality policies, safety standards and environmental regulations on both company and customer sites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, services and team environment.
• Support company initiatives and adhere to internal policies (code of conduct, risk management, travel, etc.).
• Maintain safety compliance, use PPE and propose safety improvements.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background or equivalent technical education.
• Results‑driven, proactive and reliable, able to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exceed customer expectations while ensuring accountability and integrity.
