Setup Man – Molding Operations

About the role

As a Setup Man in our molding department, you will operate a range of machine tools to produce precision parts, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality. You will work closely with a diverse team to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute specific production runs, setting up molding machines according to specifications.
• Monitor workflow, maintain quality standards, and follow procedures for equipment failures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior or new operators.
• Conduct periodic inspections and tests of machine components, reporting findings to engineers and supervisors.
• Diagnose and repair issues in manufacturing equipment, maintain activity logs, and document output records.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma; vocational training or an associate degree is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Required skills

• Machine setup and operation for molding equipment.
• Use of common machine tools.
• Equipment inspection and preventive maintenance.
