Setup Technician – Molding Operations

About the role

The Setup Technician for Molding will join a diverse team to ensure production lines start smoothly and run efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing equipment, monitoring performance, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and document inspection and quality‑check data, then analyse it to trigger corrective actions.
• Set up and operate molding machines and related tools, adjusting settings according to work requirements.
• Assist supervisors in aligning resources, analysing critical performance metrics and reporting results to management.
• Track production timelines, record quantities produced, and provide guidance to newer team members.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to troubleshoot operational flow issues and adapt procedures, techniques and materials to meet product specifications.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely within a team.
