Sheet Metal Work Buyer

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Sheet Metal Work Buyer to support its rail projects in Fez, Morocco. You will apply your procurement expertise to drive supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality components during critical project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end supplier selection process, including preparing and launching RFQs via ARIBA.
• Negotiate contracts and business awards while ensuring compliance with Alstom’s Code of Ethics.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to align procurement with project needs.
• Monitor supplier performance, develop improvement plans, and support commodity strategy implementation.
• Ensure on‑time delivery and quality, especially during ramp‑up phases.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Results‑driven, rigorous, and structured work approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ARIBA procurement platform.
