Shipping & Clearance Representative (Import Assistant)

About the role

This position ensures a smooth flow of import documentation between suppliers, Transmed and clearing agents, guaranteeing accurate and timely customs clearance. You will act as a liaison, keeping all parties informed and supporting cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Check and correct supplier documents before forwarding them to clearing agents.
• File customs‑related paperwork to maintain compliance.
• Update and share Order Status Reports (OSR) with the warehouse, market planners and clearing agents.
• Send shipping documents to clearing agents and follow up on clearance progress.
• Communicate documentation updates and OSRs to suppliers and market planners weekly.
• Alert Finance & Accounting of pricing discrepancies and provide loan‑related documents for bank approval.
• Promote Transmed’s purpose by acting as a role model daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 0‑1 years of experience in customs clearing or freight forwarding.

Required skills

• Customs documentation handling.
• Order Status Report (OSR) management.
