SME Business Officer – CAF Tangier

About the role

The position is based in the CAF office in Tangier and reports to the Director of the Business Center. The SME Business Officer will manage and grow a portfolio of small‑and‑medium‑enterprise clients, providing comprehensive banking advice and ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously update a prospect base to expand the SME client portfolio.
• Conduct at least three prospect visits per week and record results for reporting to the CAF Director.
• Provide clients with advice on placements, investments, financing, cash‑flow management, international trade and banking products.
• Negotiate pricing and ensure profitable execution of banking operations.
• Maintain accurate client dossiers and monitor usage of credit lines.
• Monitor and control counter‑party and operational risks associated with the portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SME banking needs and financial products.
• Proactive prospecting attitude with a minimum of three client visits per week.
• Ability to produce clear reports and communicate results to senior management.
• Attention to detail in client documentation and risk monitoring.
