Social Media Lead - YouTube

About the role

LXD is seeking a full‑time remote Social Media Lead focused on YouTube. You will own the channel’s strategy, drive growth, and ensure a consistent brand voice across all video content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall YouTube strategy and content calendar.
• Optimize video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and playlists for maximum reach.
• Coordinate production workflows with creators and internal teams.
• Monitor analytics, track KPIs, and run experiments to improve engagement.
• Refine strategies based on data insights and emerging platform trends.
• Write and edit scripts, titles, descriptions, and community posts.
• Engage with the audience through comments and community features.
• Stay up‑to‑date with YouTube algorithm updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in social media marketing and SMO, specifically for YouTube.
• Proven experience managing or growing a YouTube channel or similar video‑led platform.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for scripts, titles, and community interaction.
• Comfort with analytics tools and performance dashboards.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of the creator economy and current social media trends.
• Preferred background in marketing, communications, or media; basic video editing knowledge is a plus.
