Software Development Senior Manager

About the role

Oracle is seeking a senior manager to lead a new software engineering team that builds custom, AI‑enabled solutions for clients. You will set technical direction, hire and develop talent, and collaborate with US and international edge teams to transform fragmented processes into reusable capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks.
• Lead a new software engineering team building custom solutions for clients.
• Set technical and delivery direction for the engineering team.
• Hire and develop a high‑performing engineering team.
• Partner closely with US and international edge teams to turn fragmented operational knowledge into reusable capabilities.
• Deliver cost‑effective, quick AI‑enabled engineering solutions that reduce operational toil and improve service resilience.
• Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks, including debugging and designing applications, operating systems and databases.
• Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
