Sourcing Specialist

About the role
Providence Federal Group is looking for a resourceful and results‑driven Sourcing Specialist to support its growing federal contracting operations. The role focuses on identifying qualified vendors, securing competitive quotations, and coordinating sourcing activities under tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage qualified vendors and subcontractors nationwide.
- Issue RFQs and obtain complete, competitive quotations.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, pricing, availability, and compliance.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Maintain organized vendor records and sourcing trackers.
- Coordinate closely with procurement and business development teams.
- Follow up consistently to meet proposal deadlines.
Required profile
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain.
- Strong research, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple urgent requirements simultaneously.
- Experience with government contracting is strongly preferred.
- Professional proficiency in English.
