Staff Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the technical vision and execution of our automotive benchmarking platforms in Casablanca. As a senior member of an Agile Scrum team, you will combine hands‑on coding, architecture design and mentorship to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions across A2MAC1’s software ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example through hands‑on development, technical design and code reviews.
• Design and implement robust, reusable backend architectures using Python.
• Collaborate with frontend teams (e.g., Angular) to ensure consistency across the stack.
• Champion coding standards, best practices and drive platform evolution.
• Organize sprint planning, decompose features into clear stories and monitor delivery commitments.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior engineers and promote cross‑functional collaboration.
• Maintain high standards for performance, scalability, resilience and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical leader on web‑based platforms.
• Strong background in backend development with Python.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies and microservice architectures.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns and testing strategies.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
