Store Supervisor

About the role

The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all store operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in line with company standards. This role coordinates with operations, logistics, and purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels for project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receipt of goods, verify quality and quantities against documentation.
• Ensure proper storage following safety guidelines and maintain a secure store area.
• Issue daily issue sheets and Goods Receival Notifications to relevant managers.
• Conduct weekly stock takes, maintain the Stock Control Register, and update inventory reports.
• Utilise the computerized store system for inventory management and issue processing.
• Oversee store staff, enforce safe working practices, and keep the warehouse and yard clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock levels, update min/max thresholds, and manage back‑orders.

Required profile

• Minimum Secondary School Certificate; a Supply Chain or Stores diploma is preferred.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a store or warehouse environment.
• Understanding of drilling and mechanical equipment.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Physically fit, able to travel and work on a roster.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Intermediate Word.
• Operation of JCB and forklift equipment.
• Practical knowledge of stores, receivables, dispatch, and inventory control systems.
