Structure & Composite Engineer (Airbus A320)

About the role

Air Arabia Maroc is looking for a Structure & Composite Engineer who carries out and supervises maintenance tasks on its Airbus A320 fleet and third-party aircraft within the Licence Category. The engineer inspects, repairs and replaces components, ensuring work is certified and recorded accurately and on time in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review task cards with the Workshop Supervisor before starting work, then carry out scheduled maintenance, repairs and component replacements with the right documentation, parts, tools and GSE.
• Perform aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects, and rectify them according to approved maintenance data.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within their own authorisation and coordinate with other engineers and technicians.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed and protect themselves and others during maintenance.
• Support other operational teams, supervise and brief technicians on non-certifying tasks, and present a professional image to flight crews and customers.
• Keep an awareness of maintenance costs, time and materials, and minimise waste and repeat work.

Required profile

• External applicants: at least 2 years certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family and at least 5 years in a base environment.
• Internal applicants: minimum 3 years as a qualified Aircraft Technician after initial training, licensed on A320 in Structure and Composite, with a good performance record.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted corresponding licence.
• Good standard of English for technical communication.
