SubSystem Technical Manager – Vehicle Interior Systems

About the role

Lead the Vehicle Interior, Mechatronics & NVH (VIMN) scope from RFQ through design, development and industrialization, coordinating multi‑disciplinary engineering activities and managing co‑development suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare VIMN RFQs and drive organic and functional interior design in line with brand requirements.
• Negotiate quality, cost and timing targets with vehicle projects and ensure alignment with performance and industrial constraints.
• Define and manage the VIMN development plan, allocating resources and overseeing technical activities.
• Provide operational leadership to design release engineers, technical leaders and project quality leaders.
• Manage relationships with co‑development and tier‑1 suppliers for outsourced components.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in vehicle interior systems engineering (electrical, electronic or mechatronic background).
• Proven V‑cycle development from RFQ to serial production.
• Strong knowledge of interior architecture, functional design and system integration.
• Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams (ITAF, ITL, CSE, MECH, NVH).
• Excellent communication in French and English, with strong stakeholder management.
