Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of power distribution and connectivity solutions for the automotive industry, is hiring a Supplier Quality Assurance specialist in Casablanca. The role covers supplier quality complaints, product approvals and IATF audit preparation, and the holder is authorised to stop production or dispatch when risks arise.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage quality complaints from suppliers caused by customer or internal issues, analyse the faulty parts internally and close them after 8D reports and CONCs, including administrative costs
• Support the creation and update of relevant procedures
• Request, monitor, archive and approve PCNs, PPAPs and PSWs
• Monitor central on-hold areas related to suppliers and control special characteristics of processes and products
• Regularly review the control plan
• Prepare for and follow up on IATF audits and be accountable for audit findings within the department
• Stop production or dispatch when necessary to mitigate the risk of non-conforming products

Required profile

• Engineer degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial engineering, or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
• French and English are mandatory
• Social competences: communication, intercultural sensitivity, change management, target and result orientation, motivation and resilience, self-organisation, conflict management and teamwork
