Supply Chain Assistant

About the role

Greif, a global leader in industrial packaging, is expanding its team in Morocco and is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant in Casablanca (full-time, business unit Enabling Functions). The role focuses on facilitating communication between production, sales and distribution, and supports the logistics team with account management, including invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure timely and proper shipment movement.
• Assist with daily logistics account activities, audit invoices and set up accounts for payment.
• Maintain inventory, coordinate freight shipments and prepare documents.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy; track and troubleshoot shipping errors.
• Perform physical inventories and cycle counts, order materials and supplies, reconcile discrepancies and update the inventory system.
• May help identify improvement opportunities, support accounting, schedule transportation and assist with warehouse operations.
• Promote safety observances, including use of PPE and functioning safety guards.

Required profile

• Good customer service skills.
• Effective written and oral communication in Arabic, French and English.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance several tasks and deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
• Team player and basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
