Team Lead - Bancassurance Specialist

About the role

The Team Lead, Bancassurance Specialist (TL‑BAS) will head the bancassurance sales team, driving growth and ensuring disciplined execution of all bancassurance activities. This position combines people leadership with hands‑on sales driving to meet the bank’s ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive overall bancassurance sales performance, setting clear targets and monitoring KPIs.
• Increase productivity, participation rates and conversion ratios across the team.
• Provide hands‑on support in complex client engagements to maximise closure rates.
• Coach, mentor and develop Bancassurance Specialists, conducting regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
• Foster a high‑performance, results‑driven sales culture with strong teamwork and accountability.
• Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition for the BAS team, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training initiatives to continuously uplift capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading bancassurance or insurance sales teams.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong coaching and people‑development skills.
• Experience in talent acquisition and capability building.
• Solid understanding of compliance and customer‑centric sales processes.
