Team Manager – Serial Life & Design Release Engineering

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Team Manager to lead the Serial Life unit for HVAC and Engine systems components. The role combines people leadership with deep technical oversight to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met in a high‑volume production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Serial Life team, defining objectives aligned with quality, cost and delivery priorities.
• Supervise Design Release Engineers (DRE) responsible for serial‑life activities, ensuring technical consistency across HVAC and Engine scopes.
• Own critical quality issues for engine mechanical components, driving root‑cause analyses (8D, QRQC, KT, Shainin) and corrective actions.
• Manage technical supplier relationships, challenge supplier files, and ensure performance on quality, delivery and robustness.
• Ensure compliance with APQP requirements during serial life and monitor product/process risks.
• Track and control total warranty spending for HVAC and Engine systems, driving cost‑of‑non‑quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in serial production of HVAC and engine components.
• Strong technical background in mechanical components and product robustness.
• Demonstrated ability to manage quality issues, supplier performance and warranty cost control.
