Tech Lead – SAS/WPS Solutions

About the role

AXA Global Business Services Morocco is looking for a Technical Lead to drive the design, development and maintenance of complex SAS/WPS solutions within the Infocentre team. You will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of developers and ensure the reliability and scalability of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development and maintenance of SAS/WPS solutions, guaranteeing performance, reliability and scalability.
• Enforce development standards and best practices to maintain technical consistency across projects.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, training sessions and continuous skill development.
• Manage relationships with software vendors and conduct technology‑watch activities to anticipate industry trends.
• Oversee WPS environments, ensuring operational stability and availability.
• Participate in user acceptance testing with business stakeholders, delivering solutions that meet quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents and support requests.
• Contribute to process, tool and architecture improvements for the platform.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in a similar technical lead role, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Proven expertise in SAS development (Macros, SQL, DATA Step) and advanced Linux shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Releases) and Git version control.
• Experience with client‑server architectures and Altair solutions.
• Ability to propose innovative solutions, challenge technical decisions and drive quality management.
