Technical Manager – Maghreb Region

About the role

Zoetis is seeking a Technical Manager to lead veterinary and diagnostic technical support across the Maghreb region (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya). The role will drive demand generation, ensure proper product use, and support market development for the company’s animal‑health portfolio across ruminants, poultry, and companion animals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Zoetis veterinary affairs activities throughout the Maghreb region.
• Organise and deliver product trainings to distributors and key accounts, ensuring correct product use and supporting commercial opportunities.
• Support key accounts and generate demand for the Zoetis portfolio through technical assistance and achievement of sales targets.
• Contribute market and customer insights for portfolio management and new product introductions.
• Participate in species‑specific strategy execution and coordinate cross‑species priorities with internal stakeholders.
• Manage training clinics and train‑the‑trainer programmes, including remote or underserved areas.
• Maintain in‑depth technical knowledge of the Zoetis portfolio and share expertise with other technical managers.
• Build relationships with local and regional Key Opinion Leaders across species.
• Support development of sustainable diagnostic infrastructure and translate results into disease‑control recommendations.
• Assist local veterinarians and authorities in vaccination and disease‑control programmes, liaising with associations and NGOs.
• Provide technical recommendations to key accounts, diagnostic customers, and internal team members.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities by investigating and reporting adverse events per SOPs.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or BVSc, or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Registered/licensed to practice in the relevant Maghreb country.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in veterinary or animal‑health technical roles.
• Proven experience delivering technical training and supporting commercial activities.
• Strong knowledge of ruminant, poultry, and companion‑animal health sectors.
