Technical Sales Specialist – Food Enzymes (Dairy)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist II to drive growth of our Cultures and Enzymes portfolio within the dairy sector across Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. The role combines deep technical knowledge of dairy enzymes with commercial acumen to deliver tailored solutions to customers and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue for cultures and enzymes in the dairy segment across the Maghreb region.
• Identify new market opportunities, lead pricing and contract negotiations, and manage long‑term customer relationships.
• Plan and coordinate lab‑scale and production‑scale trials at customer sites, supported by regional Technical Application Specialists.
• Translate customer needs into customized enzyme solutions and ensure measurable value delivery.
• Create strategic road‑maps for key accounts, monitor sales performance, forecast demand and align resources with business goals.
• Collaborate with supply chain, customer service, marketing and represent IFF at industry events.

Required profile

• Background in dairy technology with solid practical experience using dairy enzymes.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales or a similar role.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while thriving in a team‑oriented environment.
• Customer‑centric attitude, fluent in English and holder of a valid driving licence.

• Expertise in dairy enzymes and their applications in food & beverage.
• Ability to plan and execute laboratory and production‑scale trials.
• Strong pricing and contract negotiation capabilities.
• Technical support and solution development for dairy customers.
