Technical Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Technical Service Representative to manage a warehouse of laptops, mobile phones and SIM cards for RED TIC’s partner. The role involves receiving, configuring, distributing and tracking devices while ensuring compliance with security and inventory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new stock of laptops, mobile phones and SIM cards, register them in the system and differentiate between two legal entities.
• Deploy devices to employees and contractors based on valid requests, following FIFO principles.
• Accept returned devices, update inventory, and decide on re‑imaging, cleaning, repair or disposal.
• Prepare, pack and ship outdated or unrepairable devices to disposal partners.
• Load returned machines with the latest approved operating system.
• Maintain an organized warehouse that meets security and access‑control rules.
• Track assets and perform inventory reviews in collaboration with business controls, security and finance teams.
• Use ServiceNow to record all asset changes and check requisitions at least twice daily.
• Collaborate with the country’s device‑management leader and internal/external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Physical ability to move boxes and devices.
• Strong time‑management, networking and teamwork skills.
• Customer‑facing attitude with courteous communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow defined SLAs.

Required skills

• Operating system reinstall and machine wipe for Windows and iOS devices.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for asset tracking.
• Basic manual skills to clean devices and locate appropriate accessories.
