Technical Service Representative

About the role

The Technical Service Representative will manage a warehouse of laptops, mobile phones and SIM cards, ensuring devices are correctly stocked, prepared and delivered to employees and contractors. The role requires hands‑on handling of hardware, inventory control and close collaboration with internal and external teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new stock, register it in the system and keep inventory up‑to‑date.
• Distribute laptops, phones and SIM cards to eligible users following FIFO and entity‑specific rules.
• Process returned devices, determine next steps (re‑image, clean, repair or disposal) and update records.
• Prepare, pack and ship outdated or unrepairable devices to disposal partners.
• Load returned machines with the latest approved operating system.
• Maintain warehouse organization, security checks and access control.
• Track assets and conduct inventory reviews with business controls, security and finance teams.
• Use ServiceNow to log all asset changes and check requisitions at least twice daily.
• Meet defined performance metrics and cooperate with the country’s device‑management leader.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as CIO, ordering team and external vendors.

Required profile

• Physical ability to move boxes and hardware safely.
• Independent work style with strong time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Customer‑facing attitude, courteous and respectful communication.

Required skills

• Operating system reinstall and machine wipe for Windows and iOS devices.
• Manual cleaning and basic hardware maintenance.
• Ability to look up device‑specific information online (e.g., charger compatibility).
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for asset tracking.
