Technical Service Representative – Warehouse & Device Management

About the role

The Technical Service Representative will manage a dedicated warehouse of laptops, mobile phones and SIM cards, ensuring devices are prepared, tracked and delivered to employees efficiently. This freelance position requires hands‑on hardware handling, operating‑system imaging and close collaboration with internal IT and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new stock, register devices in the system and keep inventory accurate.
• Separate and allocate devices for two legal entities, following FIFO principles.
• Distribute laptops, phones and SIM cards to eligible staff based on validated requests.
• Inspect returned equipment, decide on re‑imaging, cleaning, repair or disposal.
• Load devices with the latest approved operating system and prepare them for reuse.
• Package and ship outdated or non‑repairable items to approved disposal partners.
• Maintain warehouse organization, security checks and access controls.
• Track all asset changes in ServiceNow and perform at least two daily checks of the requisition page.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift and move boxes and hardware safely.
• Strong time‑management and ability to work independently.
• Customer‑facing attitude with courteous communication.
• Team player who can collaborate with IT, security, finance and external partners.
• Comfortable using online resources to locate device‑specific information.

Required skills

• Operating‑system reinstall and machine wipe for Windows and iOS devices.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow for asset tracking.
• Basic hardware cleaning and imaging procedures.
