Technical Support Consultant – Networking (Remote)

About the role

SupportYourApp is looking for a Technical Support Consultant specialized in networking to provide outstanding remote assistance to its global clientele. You will work from home, collaborating with multicultural teams and helping customers solve complex technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support via email and chat, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers while handling sensitive data securely.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving tools, technologies, and best‑practice customer happiness methods.
• Communicate effectively with developers and cross‑functional specialists.

Required profile

• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher).
• Proven experience in a technical support role with networking focus.
• Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude.
• Personal computer with at least 8 GB RAM and stable internet (≥50 Mbps download, ≥40 Mbps upload).

Required skills

• Networking: IPsec tunnels, DNS, packet tracing, firewall concepts, VPN, routing, split tunneling, WireGuard.
• Network protocols: OpenVPN, IKEv2, WireGuard.
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS.
• Log file analysis.
