Technical Support Engineer (Dutch Speaker)

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Technical Support Engineer who will provide high‑quality technical assistance for its electrical product portfolio, focusing on single‑phase UPS solutions. The role serves customers, distributors and internal teams across EMEA and, to a lesser extent, APAC and the Americas, handling inquiries via phone, email and web tickets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for single‑phase UPS hardware and software through phone, email and web chat.
• Manage escalations to Level 2, Level 3 and Quality teams, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist sales teams with product selection, warranty issues, documentation, repair and calibration requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—including distributors, panel builders, R&D and manufacturing—to improve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, partners and internal departments.
• Experience in technical support or engineering roles within the electrical/UPS sector.

Required skills

• Single‑phase UPS hardware troubleshooting.
• UPS software troubleshooting.
• Level 2/Level 3 escalation handling.
• Familiarity with electrical product documentation and warranty processes.
