Technical Support Engineer – German Speaker

About the role

Eaton is seeking a German‑speaking Technical Support Engineer to provide high‑quality technical assistance for its single‑phase UPS product line. The role supports customers and internal teams across EMEA and, to a lesser extent, APAC and the Americas through phone, email and web channels.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve hardware and software issues for single‑phase UPS products via phone, email and web chat.
• Manage escalations to Level 2, Level 3 and Quality teams, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist sales teams with technical inquiries, warranty claims, documentation, repair and calibration requests.
• Guide customers in product selection and application, providing pre‑sales and post‑sales support.
• Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and contribute to knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and reduce effort.

Required profile

• Fluent German language skills.
• Strong technical troubleshooting ability for UPS hardware and software.
• Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders such as customers, distributors, designers and internal engineering teams.
• Ability to work across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas).
