Technical Webmaster – English Speaker (Casablanca)

About the role

Eskimoz is looking for a Technical Webmaster who will work from Casablanca and collaborate daily with the OnPage team of its German sister company, Semtrix. The position is fully technical, focusing on implementing SEO improvements on client websites without direct client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical requests on CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Shopware, Typo3 and proprietary systems.
• Perform tag integration, structural changes, template modifications, plugin configuration and theme updates.
• Fix technical issues, manage 404 errors, redirects and indexation problems.
• Optimize website performance, including loading speed, mobile compatibility, security and markup.
• Create and optimise landing pages and category pages for SEO and conversion.
• Test and verify all implementations to ensure quality and compliance.
• Document technical interventions for team follow‑up.
• Collaborate daily with a team of seven colleagues based in Germany.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience as a technical webmaster or front‑end developer.
• Proficiency with at least one major CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Shopware, Typo3).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript/PHP.
• Hands‑on experience with technical SEO challenges.
• Rigorous, autonomous, quality‑oriented and able to manage projects end‑to‑end.
• Full professional English proficiency for daily collaboration with the German team.
