Technicien laboratoire – Validation & Support Bancs d’Essais (Automobile)

About the role

The Validation & Test Support Technician will work in ALTEN's automotive laboratory in Rabat, preparing and maintaining test environments for validation campaigns. The role ensures that test benches and equipment are ready, reliable, and compliant with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, and maintain laboratory and test equipment.
• Support hardware setup, installation, and routine maintenance.
• Execute validation and testing tasks according to defined procedures and test plans.
• Verify operational readiness of test benches and laboratory environments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report hardware or test‑related issues.
• Assist engineering teams in test preparation and execution.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of testing activities.
• Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and testing methodologies.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bac+2/Bac+3 in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in laboratory support, testing, validation, or technical support.
• Good communication skills in French and English.
• Experience with laboratory operations and testing activities.
• Knowledge of hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Ability to prepare and execute validation and test procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an engineering and technical environment.
