Test and Validation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Test and Validation Engineer to join ALTEN’s automotive team in Rabat. The role focuses on Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) testing of embedded systems and electronic control units (ECUs) for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop test cases for ECUs and subsystems on HIL platforms such as dSPACE and Vector CANoe.
• Execute validation campaigns, troubleshoot HIL benches, and update simulation models to match evolving requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, CAPL or MATLAB/Simulink and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test results, produce detailed reports, and ensure compliance with standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in embedded systems or equivalent engineering experience.
• Proven experience with HIL testing tools (dSPACE, Vector CANoe, NI VeriStand, ETAS) and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Strong English communication skills and ability to diagnose root‑cause defects.

Required skills

• Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink scripting.

• Automotive protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
