Testing Technician

About the role

Yazaki Morocco is seeking a Testing Technician to join its Technical Department at the Meknes plant. The role focuses on developing, programming, and validating testing equipment and systems for automotive wiring harness projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and validate work instructions related to testing technologies.
• Program, install and qualify test boards, screw‑driving stations, vision systems, test modules and associated equipment.
• Design, develop and maintain test programs and sequences according to project specifications.
• Commission testing equipment for new product launches and change‑management projects.
• Manage version control, backup and configuration of test programs and parameters.
• Analyze internal defects and customer complaints, identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to production for troubleshooting testing equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, safety, productivity and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with Project, Quality, Maintenance, Production teams and suppliers.
• Document lessons learned and share best practices across the testing team.

Required profile

• Bac+2 or equivalent technical diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Industrial Maintenance or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of experience in testing within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation and industrial IT.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and wiring diagrams.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Well‑organized, autonomous and detail‑oriented.
