Tooling Specialist – Injection Molds

About the role

The Tooling Specialist supports the production line by maintaining and repairing plastic injection molds. Reporting to the Tooling Supervisor, the role ensures molds operate reliably, minimizing downtime and meeting quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for injection molds.
• Perform corrective maintenance to restore mold functionality.
• Track mold condition, compliance, and availability of tooling resources.
• Communicate with Production to prioritize mold status and reduce downtime.
• Identify malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Document daily maintenance activities and reports.
• Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Inspect produced parts and develop rework solutions.
• Participate in tooling analysis and continuous‑improvement meetings.
• Manufacture and machine precision mechanical components.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health‑safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Technician diploma (Bac+2), preferably specialized in Tooling, Mold Making, or Mechanical Manufacturing.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing or injection molding, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
