About the role

NTU International is seeking a French/Arabic translator to support a new EU‑funded visibility and public diplomacy project in Morocco. The translator will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all communication materials are accurately rendered in French, Arabic (including Moroccan Darija), and English where needed.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and adapt institutional communication documents, press releases, and digital content from French to Arabic and vice‑versa.
• Proofread and edit translated texts to guarantee linguistic quality and consistency with EU terminology.
• Manage terminology databases and ensure proper use of sector‑specific language.
• Localise content for Moroccan audiences, taking cultural nuances into account.
• Collaborate with project managers, communication specialists, and external partners to meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Higher education degree (minimum BAC+3) in translation, applied languages, linguistics, French or Arabic studies, or a related field.
• Fluency in French and Arabic; knowledge of Moroccan Darija and English is a plus.
• At least 3 years of professional translation experience (or 6 years if the degree requirement is not met).
• Minimum 1 year of experience translating institutional communication or similar content.
