Training Officer – Human‑Centered Design & Community Development

About the role

CorpsAfrica is seeking an experienced Training Officer to lead its year‑long training program in Morocco. The role involves designing, organizing, and delivering four major training events, as well as facilitating hands‑on workshops in Human‑Centered Design (HCD) and Asset‑Based Community Development (ABCD) for young volunteers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate HCD and ABCD workshops and other training components.
• Plan and manage logistics for Pre‑Service, In‑Service, and Close‑of‑Service trainings, including venues, meals, transport, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare training budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records in collaboration with senior staff.
• Coordinate with CorpsAfrica staff, alumni, external trainers, NGOs, government officials, and community leaders.
• Identify and support homestay families and engage community leaders for practical training sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience facilitating participatory learning for youth.
• Strong knowledge of Human‑Centered Design and Asset‑Based Community Development.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, punctual, and results‑driven.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
