Travel Designer (Spain, Portugal or Morocco Based)

About the role

Adler Marlow is a boutique luxury DMC that creates private, culturally immersive journeys across Spain, Portugal and Morocco. As a Travel Designer you will act as both creative architect and commercial owner, guiding each trip from brief through design, sale and hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client and travel‑advisor consultations, design bespoke high‑converting itineraries and write compelling proposals.
• Curate hotels, guides and experiences that reflect taste, authenticity and avoid over‑touristed options.
• Work with Travel Coordinators to ensure seamless booking, allocation and accurate documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B advisors, direct clients and local suppliers, handling changes and expectations with empathy.
• Negotiate rates, manage product quality and continuously improve the offering in line with Adler Marlow standards.
• Price trips strategically, track profitability and meet margin targets.
• Support on‑the‑ground issue resolution, including after‑hours emergencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in luxury travel (DMC or tour operator), preferably multigenerational/family travel.
• Strong knowledge of the US luxury travel advisor market.
• Based in Spain, Portugal or Morocco with deep local expertise.
• Fluent English (professional level); additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French or Arabic a plus.
• Proven ability to design and sell tailor‑made itineraries and manage remote work independently.

What we offer

• Base salary plus commission with an OTE of €37,000 +
• 22 days paid time off plus local public holidays
