University Faculty Director – Rabat

About the role

The University Faculty Director is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Rabat Prefecture. Reporting to the university leadership, the Director provides strategic leadership to the faculty, aligning academic priorities with the mission of Université Mohammed V.

Key responsibilities

• Set academic priorities and oversee program development.
• Supervise academic and administrative teams and manage budgets and resources.
• Coordinate teaching and research activities and foster inter‑departmental collaboration.
• Represent the faculty in internal and external forums and promote national and international partnerships.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance and implement quality‑assurance processes.
• Promote an inclusive and respectful academic culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and management experience in an academic or research institution.
• Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in law, economics, social sciences or related field.
• Experience in academic program development, curriculum governance and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to support research activities and scholarly collaboration.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with faculty, staff, students and external partners.
• Experience with strategic planning, budgeting and administrative processes in higher education.
• Commitment to ethical leadership, equity, inclusion and a supportive learning environment.
• Fluency in French and/or Arabic; English proficiency is an asset.
• Familiarity with Moroccan higher‑education regulations and accreditation standards.
