Validation Team Leader – Energy Management

About the role

The Validation Team Leader – Energy Management will lead physical and functional validation activities to ensure vehicle performance targets are met across energy efficiency, emissions, driveability and regulatory compliance. This role is part of Stellantis' Energy Management organization and supports the company’s sustainability and best‑in‑class energy performance strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan and lead validation plans covering emissions, performance and consumption for local and European vehicle projects.
• Ensure successful execution of validation activities for vehicle development programs, derivative projects and series production support.
• Lead and coordinate validation engineers, technicians, test personnel, external suppliers and contractors.
• Supervise and conduct vehicle and bench testing on public roads, chassis dynamometers, proving grounds and endurance tracks.
• Track validation progress, maintain validation integration plans and files, and ensure full traceability of deliverables.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, standards and benchmarking activities within EMAT/ENGM.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading validation and homologation teams.
• Ability to manage workload, priorities and performance of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of vehicle energy efficiency, emissions, CO₂ regulations and customer perceived quality.

Required skills

• Vehicle testing and bench testing execution.
• Operation of chassis dynamometers and proving grounds.
• Validation planning and integration (PIV, DIV).
• Data collection, analysis and traceability for validation campaigns.
