Vehicle Functional Manager

About the role

The Vehicle Functional Manager ensures convergence of vehicle functions across multiple system teams, aligning functional validation plans with project objectives such as homologation and captive fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain alignment between functional validation plans and project goals, participating in governance, PI planning and prioritization sessions.
• Build and communicate functional maturity scorecards, identify risks and propose recovery actions, negotiating timing adjustments when needed.
• Monitor software maturity, validate delivery alignment with validation activities, and track execution status of validation plans.
• Coordinate with technical experts, consolidate functional synthesis for milestone assessments, and conduct QCTP analyses for functional arbitrations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with excellent knowledge of vehicle functions and functional requirements.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and vehicle function standards.
• Good communication skills in French and English, organized, and able to handle stress.

• Experience using PLM tools.
• Experience with Sirius software.
