Vehicle Functional Manager

About the role

The Vehicle Functional Manager ensures convergence of vehicle functions across multiple system teams, aligning validation plans with project objectives such as homologation and fleet delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate inputs from system teams to maintain functional convergence and alignment with project goals.
• Participate in governance, PI planning, and prioritization meetings, and build functional maturity scorecards and KPIs.
• Identify functional risks, propose recovery actions, and negotiate timing adjustments to keep projects on track.
• Monitor software maturity, validate software deliveries against validation activities, and report deviations.
• Coordinate with technical experts, safety managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle functional validation.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle functions, functional requirements, safety procedures and standards.
• Excellent communication in French and English, organized, and able to handle stress.
