Vehicle Performance Manager O2X

About the role

The Vehicle Performance Manager O2X will lead the definition, validation and convergence of vehicle performance targets across design, safety and marketing requirements. Reporting to senior program leadership, you will act as the bridge between marketing, brand teams and engineering to ensure that performance objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Marketing and Brand needs into functional performance targets and lead the target definition process.
• Negotiate performance targets with customer synthesis and design departments.
• Lead convergence between design feasibility and performance objectives, monitoring achievement throughout the project.
• Ensure functional specifications are coherent across all subsystems.
• Define and coordinate the digital and physical validation plan, including test types, fleet usage and budget management.
• Monitor hardware and software validation execution, schedule planning, resource availability and test results.
• Manage performance convergence by tracking test results, reporting, and coordinating cross‑functional action plans.
• Organise subjective assessments and support benchmarking and marketing assessment tests.
• Prepare confidentiality documentation and consider regulatory constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vehicle performance validation and safety requirements.
• Strong ability to negotiate and align performance targets with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent project monitoring and coordination skills across design and engineering teams.
• Capability to define and manage validation plans, budgets and resources.
• Understanding of regulatory constraints affecting vehicle performance.
