Versatile Kitchen Technician

About the role

The Four Seasons hotel in Casablanca seeks a Versatile Kitchen Technician to ensure all professional kitchen equipment operates smoothly. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid repairs while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all kitchen and hotel equipment according to contractual agreements.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units, cold rooms, display cases, ovens, grills, fryers, sauté stations, and laundry machines.
• Check and seal refrigeration circuits, trace fluid movements, and adjust gas‑connected appliances.
• Install, commission, and document new equipment, ensuring proper hand‑over between shifts.
• Participate in routine upkeep, equipment renewal projects, and on‑call rotation as required.

Required profile

• Experience in maintaining professional kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work safely in emergency situations (fire, power outage) and know escalation procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, clean work habits, and the capacity to prioritize tasks.
• Good teamwork and communication with other hotel staff.

Required skills

• Refrigeration system maintenance.
• Cooking appliance troubleshooting (ovens, grills, fryers, sauté stations).
• Gas circuit inspection and adjustment.
• Electromechanical maintenance of laundry and washing equipment.
