Veterinarian / Animal Biologist

About the role

Clinvet Morocco is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian / Animal Biologist to join its Animal Care team. This role offers hands‑on experience in a research‑focused environment, supporting study management and animal welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with planning, execution, and reporting of GCP, GLP, and non‑standard studies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Serve as Study Investigator for assigned non‑standard studies and prepare protocols, ethics applications, and related documentation.
• Lead team scheduling, resource planning, and maintain audit‑ready animal facilities.
• Monitor animal health, welfare, disease prevention, conduct examinations, sample collection, and manage quarantine, isolation, and biosecurity procedures.
• Perform animal handling, care, therapy, enrichment, parasite procedures, breeding activities, and administer veterinary products as required.

Required profile

• Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or a degree in Natural/Biological Science with at least two years of research experience, or a veterinary technology diploma with five years of research experience.
• Ability to work eight‑hour shifts on foot, in a laboratory/research environment with strict biosafety controls.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as scheduled.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
