Video Annotator

About the role

We are seeking meticulous Video Annotators to enrich a Vision‑Language‑Action dataset. You will watch short video clips of physical tasks, break them into logical steps, and write concise natural‑language instructions for each segment.

Key responsibilities

• Watch each video in full to grasp overall context before annotating.
• Segment videos into discrete steps based on visible action boundaries.
• Write clear, grammatically correct step‑by‑step descriptions for every segment.
• Assign accurate start and end timestamps for each segment.
• Follow provided annotation guidelines, taxonomies, and style guides.
• Flag unclear, corrupted, or mislabeled videos.
• Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate QA feedback.
• Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets while maintaining data confidentiality.

Required profile

• English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) with strong grammar and vocabulary.
• Exceptional attention to visual detail and ability to notice subtle scene changes.
• Excellent written communication for precise action descriptions.
• Comfort using video‑based annotation tools (training provided).
• Ability to work independently, follow detailed guidelines, and stay consistent over repetitive tasks.
• Reliable internet connection and a computer with a modern browser.

Required skills

• Familiarity with annotation platforms such as CVAT, Label Studio, or Scale.
• Basic computer literacy (file handling, web tools, spreadsheets).
