About the role

As VP Manufacturing, you will lead the establishment and scaling of Harmattan AI’s manufacturing capabilities in the MEA region, enabling rapid expansion and delivery of advanced defense technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Harmattan AI’s MEA manufacturing strategy in alignment with the global industrial roadmap.
• Build and manage manufacturing partnerships and production capabilities across the MEA, ensuring reliable, high‑quality output.
• Direct the setup and operation of production facilities, overseeing quality standards, on‑time delivery, and transition from prototypes to scalable production.
• Manage supply‑chain relationships, production planning, logistics, and inventory flows to guarantee reliable product delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and risk‑management practices.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in robotics, aerospace, defense or similarly complex sectors.
• Strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver results under strict time and budget constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French, and Arabic.
• Experience working across diverse geographies and adapting processes to regional regulatory and operational contexts.
