Warehouse Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor ensures daily warehouse operations run smoothly, meeting legal, safety, and performance targets for the assigned shift. You will lead a team, manage inventory processes, and collaborate with other departments to optimise efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, supervise and participate in daily warehouse activities.
• Manage warehouse inventory and e‑commerce warehouse processes.
• Handle assorted/unsorted product addressing, collection and scanning.
• Oversee carton‑boxed product acceptance, addressing and collection.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Identify and propose improvements to warehouse processes.
• Conduct studies to develop, simplify and improve operations.
• Supervise product allocation and daily workflow.
• Schedule staff, ensure proper shift coverage and handle hiring and training.
• Perform performance evaluations and enforce discipline according to company policy.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in blue‑collar supervisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in shifts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) programs.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 5S methodology.
• Understanding of Kaizen continuous‑improvement principles.
