Workforce Development Lead – Morocco EcoRise

About the role

Research Triangle Institute (RTI) is seeking a Workforce Development Lead for the USAID‑funded Morocco EcoRise activity. Based in Rabat, the role will provide technical leadership to design and implement market‑driven training and education programmes that strengthen the skills of youth, women, people with disabilities and other marginalized groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall workforce development strategy for the EcoRise programme, aligning it with USAID objectives and RTI’s Sustainable Growth & Resilience portfolio.
• Design, develop and roll out training curricula, vocational courses and on‑the‑job learning modules that respond to labour‑market needs.
• Coordinate with private‑sector partners, NGOs and government agencies to secure training placements, apprenticeships and mentorship opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of training interventions, producing evidence‑based reports for donors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to project staff and partners on inclusive workforce practices.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in workforce development, adult education, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and managing large‑scale training or capacity‑building programmes, preferably in North Africa or similar contexts.
• Demonstrated experience working with youth, women and persons with disabilities.
• Strong understanding of labour‑market dynamics, SME support and inclusive economic growth.
