Active Feature Integrator Engineer – Automotive

About the role

The Active Feature Integrator Engineer ensures that Active Brake and Mechatronic Steering subsystems meet performance, quality, schedule, and cost targets. Working closely with the Project Performance Leader and cross‑functional teams, the engineer drives integration and validation activities for these safety‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop virtual and physical integration and validation plans aligned with project scope, timing, quality, and budget.
• Lead and monitor the execution of digital and physical development plans, coordinating design, validation, and testing disciplines.
• Maintain and update Active Brake and Steering schedules, communicating changes to functional integrators.
• Validate compliance with performance, schedule, and quality objectives; manage escalations and corrective actions.
• Prepare lessons‑learned documentation to improve future processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Mechatronics.
• 5‑10 years of experience in automotive system integration, preferably with Active Brake or Mechatronic Steering.
• Project management experience in vehicle development.
• Strong analytical ability to assess technical data and ensure compliance with project goals.
