Audiovisual Technician – Rabat Hotel

About the role

The Audiovisual Technician will ensure all audio‑visual, projection, lighting and conferencing equipment in banquet and meeting rooms operates flawlessly. Working on‑site at the Rabat Marriott Hotel, you will support events by setting up, testing, and maintaining AV systems while delivering professional service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment for events.
• Verify equipment against Banquet Event Orders and label any issues for the manager.
• Secure and dress all cables, tape down loose wires, and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist guests with equipment usage, promote additional AV services, and monitor performance during events.
• Break down, remove, and store equipment after use, following Marriott Visual Productions SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness, professional appearance, and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working with AV equipment in a hospitality or event setting.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to safety, company policies, and quality standards.
