Brand Manager – Biologics

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a Brand Manager to lead the marketing strategy for its biologics portfolio. The role focuses on executing marketing initiatives, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving brand performance in the respiratory therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute congress activities, including creation of promotional materials, logistics coordination, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Develop and manage the Promotional Speaker Program, covering speaker training, material development, communications, and follow‑up.
• Engage key external experts (KEEs) and stakeholders within the respiratory community to strengthen brand presence.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing promotional assets aligned with brand strategy.
• Lead internal submissions and reviews (medical, legal, regulatory) for marketing materials.
• Participate in brand planning and budget meetings, ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives.
• Manage the brand budget to maximize ROI and prevent overspend.
• Oversee contracts, MSAs, SOWs, and purchase orders for all vendors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional matrix teams (sales, market access, medical, operations) to align initiatives.
• Track program effectiveness using KPIs and share best practices.

Required profile

• Experience executing marketing strategies for pharmaceutical or biologic products.
• Strong ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.
• Proven track record in organizing congresses and speaker programs.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Analytical mindset to assess market trends and identify new opportunities.
