Business Control Specialist – Morocco

About the role

The Business Control Specialist will partner with operational teams to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decisions across the organization in Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and consolidate annual and forecast budgets with all departments.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess profitability and efficiency.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, recommending corrective actions.
• Produce regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management and stakeholders.
• Identify cost‑optimization levers to improve operating margins.
• Provide financial analyses to support strategic decision‑making.
• Assist in financial management of investment or transformation projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, accounting and tax regulations.
• Collaborate closely with operational, accounting and management teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in management control, corporate finance, accounting, audit or a business school specialization in finance/control.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, business control or auditing.
• Experience in transportation, logistics or diversified multi‑product companies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, SAGE, JDE, Cosy and OneStream.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; Power BI is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French.
